Worship Committee update, Gail Randall

The worship committee met on March 9, in the undercroft.  Most of our discussion centered around the all-inclusive leaflets that we are using on Sunday mornings.  Father Bob and members of the Worship Committee have received some messages that some people don't like the leaflets; they would rather go back to the Prayer Book.  It was decided to keep them as they are until after Easter since all the Easter plans are already set up on the computer.  We will revisit this concern at our next meeting.  We are hoping to come up with a compromise since there are also those who like the leaflets.
We also discussed ways to be more welcoming to new people.  We may do this by developing a Newcomer's Ministry.  We also may have an Instructed Eucharist.
Judy Martin and Coralee Petersen attended a Liturgical Workshop in Casper recently and came back with many new ideas for our worship.  We hope to use some of them in the months to come.
