YOUTH
Elementary School
Sunday School is every Sunday morning during the school year. Children
ages 2-8 meet downstairs at 10:45 a.m. for songs and lessons and join
their family for worship during the Peace. A Nursery is also available
on Sunday mornings.
Middle School and
High School
St.
Andrew's Youth Groups consist of Middle High and Senior
High students who wish to have fun, learn about God, and do service
in our community. We meet on Wednesdays
from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the church. We usually meet at the
church first then we split up into Senior High and Middle School groups
to
go do our activities.
We
are using the Rite 13 and Journey to Adulthood (J2A) program. There
are three main objectives for the lessons:
1.
Building Christian community, which builds individual self-esteem
and strong relationships with others.
2.
Establishing relationships which honor each individuals's gifts and
talents as a necessary part for the life of the group.
3.
Unfolding a basic understanding of God's call to us through scripture
and the Holy Spirit, as well as understanding who we are as members
of the Church.
The
greatest thing about the youth groups at St. Andrews is
the kids! We have kids that participate in all of the school
sports and music activities. They are very active at school but
take time each week to come together and build friendships to honor
God's love in their lives. Our youth group has been growing in
numbers as well as spirit and we welcome with open arms and hearts
anyone who would like to be active in our youth program whether you
are an adult or a youth. Please call Pastor Jami at the church
office - 307-367-2674 if you have any questions regarding our
youth groups at St. Andrews!
