Hospital
Although there is no hospital in Pinedale, if someone needs a pastoral visit while hospitalized in Jackson, Rock Springs, Salt Lake, etc., please phone the church at 307-367-2674 and a visit will be arranged, if at all possible. If anyone knows of someone who is hospitalized, or recently returned from the hospital, please contact Pat Jackson and she will arrange for flowers to be sent to that person.

Home Communions
This ministry trains Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEM II) to take Communion to the homebound of our parish. Each Sunday following a Eucharistic service, members of one of the LEM II teams here at St. Andrew's take the blessed Sacrament to the homebound at the Sublette Center or wherever else we have persons desiring to receive the Sacrament. There are four, two-person teams who make these visits. If someone is aware of a need, make a call to the church at 307-367-2674, prior to the Sunday service and a visit will be made.

Retirement Center Worship Service
Every Monday at 10:45 a.m. a short Episcopal service is offered in the medical wing of the Sublette County Retirement Center in Pinedale. For the attending residents, scripture is read and old familiar hymns are sung. Volunteers from St. Andrew's pass out materials for the session. They sit with attendees, visit with them, and assist them in following the hymns and scripture. During the peace offering, volunteers give a hug or hand shake and greeting to each participant. It is a wonderful experience to see participants light up their faces from a song or say the Lord's Prayer from memory with a smile. Plan to schedule one small hour of your week on Monday mornings to participate. Contact Coralee Petersen to find out more about this ministry.

Hospice Care Givers Group
The Hospice/Caregivers Group is not an official St. Andrew's ministry, but many of the volunteers are members of the St. Andrew's community. They provide non medical assistance to families who have a member with a long-term, chronic illness or who are at the end of their life. Wes Shields, 307-367-2674, is the contact person for this ministry.

Yes, we are God's people sent to serve
And yes, we do serve . . .
But God calls us to do even more
And we can do more . . .
As God's people, we have been sent to serve . . .
   Let's do it!!!
